7. Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

PIMR supports Green Open Access. Authors may deposit versions of their manuscript in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal or institutional websites at any time, without embargo. The following applies to each version:

Version Description When Permitted Conditions
Preprint The manuscript before peer review. At any time, before or during review. Authors should note on the preprint that it is under review and update it with a link to the published article after publication.
Accepted Manuscript The peer-reviewed, author-corrected version before typesetting by the journal. Immediately upon acceptance, without embargo. Acknowledge PIMR as the original publication venue and include a link to the published article once available.
Published Version of Record The final typeset PDF as published in PIMR. Immediately upon publication, without embargo. CC BY 4.0 — Freely shareable and reusable with attribution to the original authors and PIMR.

There is no embargo period on self-archiving of any version. Authors self-archiving their work are requested to include a link to the published article on the PIMR website and to state that PIMR is the original publication venue. Recommended preprint servers include medRxiv,bioRxiv, and SSRN.
